Paramet.io License Agreement

This License Agreement explains what you may do with the designs, models and files you create or export with Paramet.io ("Paramet.io", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Your plan determines which license you hold.

Which license comes with my plan?

Each plan on our pricing page is labelled with the license it includes. Plans labelled "Commercial License" include the Commercial License; all other plans, including free plans, include the Personal License.

Your current license is always shown on your Subscription page in the app.

Definitions

"Base Models" means the parametric models, templates and components provided in the Paramet.io library, and all related code, geometry and artwork. Base Models are owned by Paramet.io or its licensors.
"Output" means any design you configure with Paramet.io and any file you export from it (for example STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP).
"Physical Print" means a physical object manufactured from an Output, for example by 3D printing.
"Active Subscription" means a paid subscription that is current and not cancelled, expired or suspended for non-payment.

Personal License

You may:

Configure and export Outputs within your plan's limits.
Make Physical Prints for your own personal, non-commercial use, or as occasional personal gifts.

You may not:

Sell, rent or otherwise commercialise Physical Prints, including through online shops (e.g. Etsy), markets, commissions or print-on-demand services.
Use Outputs or Physical Prints in any business, promotional or paid activity.

Commercial License

While you have an Active Subscription to a plan that includes the Commercial License, you may:

Configure and export Outputs within your plan's limits.
Manufacture and sell Physical Prints made from your Outputs, in any quantity, through any sales channel.
Use photos of your Physical Prints to market them.

Commercial use means selling physical 3D-printed products only. It does not include selling or distributing digital files in any form.

When your subscription ends

The Commercial License ends when your Active Subscription ends, is changed to a plan without the Commercial License, or is cancelled and the paid period expires.
After that you may not sell new Physical Prints made from Outputs, including prints already manufactured but not yet sold.
Sales completed while your Commercial License was active are not affected.
Your license returns to the Personal License if you remain on a plan that includes it.

Restrictions (all plans)

On every plan, you may not:

Sell, share, upload, give away or otherwise distribute Outputs or any digital file derived from Base Models, whether free or paid, modified or unmodified. This includes file marketplaces, model-sharing sites, print farms that receive files from you, and bundles.
Offer Outputs as files or as a service that lets others create or download them.
Claim Base Models as your own or register them as your intellectual property.
Use Base Models or Outputs to train machine-learning models or to build a competing product.
Remove or bypass any limits, watermarks or technical protections.

If someone else manufactures prints for you (for example a local print service), you may share an Output with them only for that single order, and they may not keep, reuse or redistribute it.

Team plans

The license applies to the plan owner and the team members invited to that plan while they are members. Team members' rights end when they are removed from the team.

Your own content

If you upload or create your own models with the Creator tools, you keep the rights to your own content. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and you may not upload content that infringes others' copyrights or trademarks.

Ownership

All rights in Base Models remain with Paramet.io or its licensors. Your license is non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable. You may not resell or transfer your account or license.

Breach

If you breach this License Agreement we may suspend or terminate your account and your license ends immediately. We may also take action against infringing listings, including reporting them to the platform where they are sold.
